The Furious Stakes is not only a strong guide to the G1 Flight Stakes, but its honour roll features some of our greatest race fillies and mares of the modern era, including a few champions…

Research (1988), Tristanagh (1989), Bold Promise (1991), Sunline (1998), the ill-fated Unworldly (2000), Samantha Miss (2008), Winx (2014) and most recently, Foxplay – who could have a big spring ahead of her!

Angst (1993) and Samantha Miss have won the four feature fillies races in the Princess Series: the Silver Shadow, Furious, Tea Rose and Flight Stakes. Formality has claimed the first leg but faces a strong field in this Saturday’s Furious!
