Trainer Liam Birchley has never won a Magic Millions Two-Year-Old Classic but horses he trains have now won more than $1 million in bonus payments.

Connections of Birchley's Classic runner Real Princess are $325,000 richer despite the filly finishing eighth on Saturday.

Magic Millions have a Racing Women's Bonus of $500,000 which is shared by the first four horses across the line owned entirely by women.

There were only four eligible horses in this year's race with Real Princess doing the best and earning $325,000.

Next home was Falconic (14th) who got $100,000, while Saxton Rock picked up $50,000 for running second last and Cellargirl $25,000 for finishing last.

Birchley has also taken part of the bonus with Pepperano ($325,000 in 2015), Saga of The Storm ($25,000, 2015), Ruby Sho ($100,000, 2014) Sagatona ($50,000, 2014) and Missy Long Stocking ($100,000, 2013).

It adds up to more than $1.2 million in bonus payments.

"Not bad but I would still like to win one," Birchley said.
