Dundeel colt tops first day of Millions

A colt by first season sire Dundeel out of champion of her era Miss Finland has fetched top price of $900,000 on the first day of the Magic Millions sale on the Gold Coast.

The versatile Miss Finland won the 2006 Golden Slipper and the VRC Oaks later that year while Dundeel's wins include the 2013 Australian Derby and the 2014 Queen Elizabeth Stakes.

The yearling colt was knocked down to the bid of Craig Rounsefell's Boomer Bloodstock for $900,000 on Wednesday.
