Miss Rose De Lago has given Danny O'Brien some good news with her win in the final race at Caulfield on Saturday.
Less than 24 hours earlier, O'Brien was issued a show cause notice by Racing Victoria stewards as to why he should not have his licence suspended until a hearing into cobalt charges against him takes place.
O'Brien has been charged after four of his horses - De Little Engine, Bondeiger, Caravan Rolls On and Bullpit - were found to be over the cobalt threshold of 200 micrograms per litre of urine.
Along with fellow trainers Mark Kavanagh, Peter Moody and training partners Lee and Shannon Hope, O'Brien has been given a show cause notice to appear before stewards on Wednesday.
"We've had some challenges in the last 24 hours that we'll meet as a team," O'Brien said after Miss Rose De Lago's victory in The Champagne Pommery Masters Handicap.
"I've got a great team of people behind me.
"My owners are fantastic and my staff.
"We'll all stick together and I'm hoping we'll get the right result."
