The Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board will hand down its penalty on trainer Mark Riley on February 23 after adjourning a hearing on Monday.
Riley was found guilty last month of bringing Gold For Kev to Sandown on July 13 last year with a prohibitive substance in its system, resulting in an elevated TCo2 reading.
The Mornington-based trainer pleaded not guilty to two charges of administering an alkalising agent to Gold Kev but guilty of presenting the horse to race at Sandown with an elevated reading.
