Tegan Harrison cleared of injury

Tuesday 7 October 2014, 1:12pm

Star Queensland jockey Tegan Harrison has been cleared of any serious injury from a race fall and will be fit to take her rides this week.

Harrison was riding Eagle's Nest in the seventh race at Ipswich on Monday when the saddle shifted shortly after the start.

She was placed at a disadvantage and was finally came off near the 400m mark.

Her manager Glen Courtney said Harrison appeared to have escaped any serious injuries.

"She was shaken and had a bit of an egg on the side of her head but otherwise she is OK," Courtney said.

"Tegan is resting today and I expect her to be right to ride at the Gold Coast on Wednesday and for the rest of the week."

Harrison has been in the national spotlight recently with top sprinter Temple of Boom and has four rides at the Gold Coast on Wednesday.

The Tony Gollan-trained Temple Of Boom is recovering from a respiratory infection discovered after his fifth in Saturday's Gilgai Stakes.

Gollan is confident he will be back to his best for the star studded Group One Manikato Stakes on October 24.
