Guy Walter will stick to an original plan to start the spring campaign of triple Group One winner Appearance in the Show County Quality at Warwick Farm.

Walter thought about entering Appearance in the Toy Show Quality, a 1300m race for fillies and mares, when it attracted a meagre six nominations on Monday.

But when extended entries closed on Tuesday, Walter decided to add only Ameliorate and Pinocchio as his nominations for Saturday's Group Three race.

Appearance was recently named the NSW Miler of the Year for her wins in the Myer Classic, Coolmore Classic and the Queen of the Turf.

The Myer is again her target this spring.

"She has done well," Walter said.

"The plan is for her to have two or three runs in Sydney and then head to Melbourne for the Tristarc Stakes before the Myer.

Australian Oaks winner Royal Descent, one of nine Chris Waller-trained entries in the Warwick Stakes, is more likely to run in the Toy Show.

Appearance's stablemate Streama is a confirmed runner in the Warwick Stakes as she begins a short campaign aimed at the Epsom Handicap.

Glen Boss rides the dual Group One winner in the 1400m feature while Peter Robl will replace the suspended Blake Shinn on Toydini who is also entered for the Show County (1200m).

Toydini won the Phar Lap Stakes (1500m) and the Carbine Club Stakes (1600m) during the autumn but came up short when tried over 2000 metres in the Frank Packer Plate.

"The Epsom looks a nice race for him," Walter said.

"The plan with Streama is to give her maybe three runs this spring and then give her a nice long spell with a view to next autumn."

Streama won last year's Tristarc then finished out of the placings as favourite in the Myer.

Her autumn-winter campaign didn't produce a win but the mare ran well for thirds in the Queen of the Turf and the Stradbroke Handicap as well as a fourth in the Doncaster and second in the Tatt's Tiara in June.

She showed she had retained her fitness levels with a win in a barrier trial earlier this month.
