A multiple Group One winner in New Zealand, Veyron hasn't been seen at his best in Australia but trainer Linda Laing is looking to change that in the coming weeks.
Veyron is among the 19 entries for a star-studded Group Two Warwick Stakes (1400m) at Warwick Farm on Saturday.
Laing brought Veyron across the Tasman for an autumn campaign but a freak accident interrupted plans and he finished eighth, beaten less than two lengths, in his only Sydney start in the George Ryder Stakes won by Pierro.
"He will be on the plane tonight," Laing said on Monday.
"Australia hasn't seen the best of him and I'm keen for him to show how good he really is.
"When we came over in the autumn he stood on a palm frond at Warwick Farm on the Tuesday before the Doncaster and a blood blister developed and he missed the race.
"It was devastating but he's in good shape now."
Veyron is one of 10 Group One winners among 19 entries for the Warwick Stakes, a traditional starting point for Sydney's spring carnival aspirants.
Christian Reith has been confirmed as Veyron's rider with his regular partner Rogan Norvall unable to travel because of issues with his work visa.
The Zimbabwean has ridden Veyron to three of his four Group One wins in New Zealand.
Chris Waller has entered nine horses in the Warwick Stakes with Kelinni, Metal Bender, Moriarty and Sacred Falls also nominated for the Show County Quality (1200m).
Guy Walter has two entries - Streama and Toydini - with both heading towards the Epsom Handicap (1600m) on October 5.
The Epsom is also a target for Veyron who tuned up for his Sydney trip with a midfield effort over 1400m at Ruakaka last month under 64.5kg and a gallop between races at Te Rapa on Saturday.
