If he performs as Bede Murray hopes at Rosehill on Saturday, World Wide will find himself racing three times in less then two weeks but his trainer believes he can handle the load.

The six-year-old won a 1900m race at Rosehill on Monday and runs over 1800m at the same track on Saturday to cement his place on the float for next Thursday's Grafton Cup (2350m).

Murray also has Piazza San Pietro entered for the Grafton feature but he will stay closer to home if he runs well in the 2400m race at Rosehill.

"I'll see how they get through Saturday but I'm hoping World Wide can go to the Grafton Cup," Murray said.

"He's in that race on the limit of 54 kilos which is a good weight for him so I'd like to give him a shot."

Voila Ici is the 59kg topweight for the $150,000 Listed race at Grafton with Fiumicino on 57kg alongside New Zealander Zennista, winner of the Caloundra Cup.

The NSW South Coast where Murray trains has been among the hardest hit regions by recent rain with Kembla Grange to finally hold a race meeting next week.

"We haven't been able to work on the track although the horses have done plenty of work on the sand," Murray said.

"And down on the farm where I am, there is still water just sitting there."

World Wide showed his fitness with his win on Monday while Piazza San Pietro hasn't raced since June 8 when he finished third to Peal Of Bells in the Stayers Cup (3200m).

Both Murray's horses will be ridden by Kathy O'Hara while apprentice John Kissick will be aboard Kenny's World, trained by Murray's son Graeme.

The multiple stakes winning sprinter is back after a year-long retirement.

Previously raced on lease, he is now under the Murray name after spending some time on the family farm at Conjola.

"He didn't really like retirement and he looked so well we thought we should get him back to the races," Murray said.
