An early morning track inspection will determine whether Tuesday's Warwick Farm meeting goes ahead.

Five races were lost from Saturday's Randwick program due to heavy rain which affected one part of the track and visibility.

Wild weather was expected on Monday night with the Australian Turf Club's racecourse manager Lindsay Murphy saying more rain would put Warwick Farm in doubt.

"If we got more than ten mils then it has to be in serious doubt," Murphy said.

"At the moment Canterbury is fine for Wednesday. It has has 100 mils in the past 48 hours but it has a very modern drainage system.

"Warwick Farm has no drainage underneath it."

Two horses will gallop over the course proper at Warwick Farm at 6.30am after which a decision will be made whether to go ahead.
