50 winners might be out of reach for Dolan

Sunday 14 July 2019, 1:27pm

Robbie Dolan has just four meetings to reach a half century of Sydney winners for the season after being suspended at Rosehill.

Dolan has the metropolitan apprentices' title in his keeping with 46 winners for 2018/19.

His chances to become the first junior rider to reach 50 since Tommy Berry in 2009/10 have been dealt a blow by Saturday's careless riding ban which comes on top of another earlier this month.

Dolan will be out from July 23 until the start of the new season on August 1.

Dolan is indentured to Mark Newnham and is scheduled to to finish his apprenticeship in September.
