Capacity field to run in G1 Oakleigh Plate

A capacity field of 18 plus four emergencies has been declared for the Group One Oakleigh Plate at Caulfield with favourite Nature Strip drawing barrier five.

Group One-winning mares Shoals and Viddora are equal topweights with 57kg and have drawn barriers seven and 11 respectively for Saturday's 1100m sprint.

Recent W J Adams Stakes winner Bons Away has drawn 20 with Group Two-winning sprinter Eduardo even wider in 21.

The Chris Waller-trained stablemate to Nature Strip, three-year-old Charge, has drawn the inside barrier.

The emergencies are Crown Witness (22), Bel Sonic (6), Usain Bowler (12) and Vainstream (18).
