We will continue to have plenty of runners as we head into July.  June was a great month for our brand with five metropolitan winners. This is an exceptional result given we only have about 25 horses in work at any time.

We had a good week without winning a race.  Casa De Lago was second in the Rivette Final at Flemington and Annaman looked the winner at Morphettville only to be grabbed on the line.  Kissing Game ran home strongly for 3rd at Warwick Farm and isn’t far off a win.  Husson Eagle ran home strongly and Hussy’s Glow didn’t have much go right in the Leilani Final but was strong late.

Reneged – good luck in the Grafton Cup!!!

Chalmers had a day to forget in the Grafton Guineas.  He was stirred up before the race and was never in the hunt.   Today we have Reneged in the Grafton Cup for John Thompson and Everard in the two years old Showcase for Kris Lees.  It will be interesting to see how Reneged copes with the step up to 2350m. Both horses are well in the market.

Almerheri makes her debut today at Kembla Grange.  Good luck to her.

The New Season is only a couple of weeks off, and we have some of our very good young horses in work preparing for the big races. Our star two years old’s Zizzis and Golden Script are in work with Patrick Payne and Darren Weir and Our Long Sali will head into work in 10 days.

The Goldmarket winner Raido is coming along nicely and will be ready to race in about two weeks.

My eye is always on the Magic Millions day in January on the Gold Coast where we have had so much success.  I have purchased and managed the winners of eight Magic Millions feature races since 2010 and hope to be well represented again in 2019.

I hope you enjoy your racing and I look forward to a successful end to the 2018/19 Season where we have continued to punch above our weight.

Invincible Al Heads to Flemington next week!!!
