Niwot, Mourayan topweights for Sydney Cup

Eleven stayers have accepted to run in the $500,000 Group One Sydney Cup at Randwick on Saturday.

Last year's winner Niwot and the Lloyd Williams-owned Mourayan are equal 58kg topweights after handicaps were raised 2.5kg at acceptance time.

Niwot's stablemate, the 2010 Melbourne Cup runner-up Maluckyday, is also an acceptor along with this year's Adelaide Cup winner Norsqui.

Early favourite Kelinni has drawn gate seven as trainer Chris Waller attempts to add his impressive autumn Group One haul.

Valuable colt All Too Hard has drawn gate seven when he resumes an interrupted campaign in the All Aged Stakes.

The field of eight in the weight-for-age race also includes More Joyous and talented three-year-old Epaulette.

It's A Dundeel is the headline act among nine acceptors for the Queen Elizabeth Stakes while there are 14 two-year-olds in the Champagne Stakes.
