Robbie Fradd faces lengthy suspension

Sunday 15 January 2017, 3:33pm

Brisbane jockey Robbie Fradd will have to rely on the appeals process to avoid a lengthy suspension.

Fradd picked up his third ban in a fortnight at the Gold Coast on Saturday.

Stewards found him guilty of interference on Most Important near the line in the Magic Millions Cup and suspended him for 12 days starting on Wednesday night.

Fradd was suspended for 12 days at Doomben on New Year's Day and for another 12 days at Eagle Farm on January 7.

He has appealed the first two suspensions and has been riding on a stay of proceedings.

Fradd is second on the Brisbane premiership behind runaway leader Jeff Lloyd..
