A midweek double has given Tulloch Lodge the perfect entree to Villiers Stakes day where it is set to produce well-supported favourite Fabrizio in the feature race.

The Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained Fabrizio is at $3.20 for Sydney's summer showpiece, the Group Two Villiers (1600m) at Randwick on Saturday.

At Warwick Farm on Wednesday, three-year-old filly My True Love was the second leg of a double for Waterhouse and Bott after two-year-old Debonairly won the opening race.

Josh Parr took My True Love, the $3.20 favourite, to the front from a wide gate and she kicked home strongly to win a benchmark handicap for three-year-old fillies over 1300m.

The Peter Robl-trained Sugarparma ($13) was game in defeat while Bold Carlota ($7) filled the minor placing.

The win was atonement for Parr who rode My True Love first-up at Warwick Farm where she ran third on November 26.

"I wasn't too pleased with how I rode this filly first-up in a race so I'm glad that I've been able to get back on her today and win for the connections," Parr said.

"I think if she keeps improving like this there's nice things in store for her."

Parr picked up a brace, riding Anisha to victory in the final race for trainer Mark Newnham.

The double took Parr past 50 winners this season and into second place on the NSW riders' premiership, two behind Brenton Avdulla who moved to 53 after winning at Warwick Farm on the Joe Pride-trained Krusty.

Pride said he had earmarked Krusty's potential as a two-year-old but bad luck held him back in his first preparation.

The three-year-old gelding had form behind stakes winners Morton's Fork and Guard Of Honour at two and showed improvement to win the 1400m maiden.

"He's not there in the coat and he's not there physically but good horses find ways to win and that's what he did today," Pride said.

Gothenburg ($17) and Gracious Grey ($16) filled the placings.

Trainer Con Karakatsanis has stakes race in mind for Magicaz after she scored an impressive first-up victory in a 1000m benchmark handicap.

Karakatsanis is training on a stay of proceedings while he waits for an appeal into a four-month disqualification for a handful of horses in his stable being trained by an owner.

Magicaz got home at $17, beating the $2.80 favourite Star Crossed and Remunerator ($14).

"She's got class written all over her," Karakatsanis said.
