Makybe Diva Stakes attracts 14 nominations

Nominations have been extended after just 14 entries were received for the Group Makybe Diva Stakes including Melbourne Cup winner Prince Of Penzance.

The Darren Weir-trained stayer is one of three horses the leading trainer has entered for Saturday's race at Flemington with Group One Memsie Stakes winner Black Heart Bart and Palentino the others.

The Lindsay Park team of David and Ben Hayes and Tom Dabernig also have three nominations - He Or She, Tashbeeh and last year's runner-up Rising Romance while other notable entries include Alpine Eagle, Entirely Platinum, Our Ivanhowe and Tarzino.
