Capitalist to miss Golden Rose

Star Turn and Yankee Rose are the new $8 equal favourites for the Golden Rose with Capitalist to miss the $1 million race.

The Golden Slipper winner finished fourth in Saturday's San Domenico Stakes at Rosehill won by Star Turn and will now be aimed at the Coolmore Stud Stakes at Flemington on October 29.

Yankee Rose, runner-up in the Slipper, won a jump-out at the Sunshine Coast on Tuesday and will go first-up into the Golden Rose on September 10.
