Allen outed for eight meetings at Sandown

Apprentice Ben Allen will ride at the feature meeting at Caulfield before starting a careless riding suspension.

Allen was outed for causing interference near the 200 metres of the final race at Sandown on Wednesday aboard the winner Hellbent.

His ban begins after Saturday's Caulfield meeting where he has four rides, including Mossin' Around for comeback trainer Grahame Begg in the MRC Foundation Handicap.

A former Randwick trainer, Begg has relocated to Victoria after taking a break from training.

Allen will be free to ride again on August 22 at Echuca.
