Thursday 24 September 2015, 9:24am

Champion mare Black Caviar has given birth to her second foal, a colt by Sebring.

Black Caviar's first foal is a filly by Exceed And Excel with a decision pending on the mare's next mating.

Sebring, winner of the 2008 Golden Slipper and ATC Sires' Produce, stands at Widden Stud in the Hunter Valley.

He is the sire of Dissident, the leading contender for Horse of the Year Honours and has also produced triple Group One winner Criterion.

"Congrats @blackcaviar2006! Delivered a gorgeous Sebring colt overnight! 10 years to the day Sebring himself was born!" Widden said on Twitter.

Black Caviar's co-owner Pam Hawkes told Sky Sports Radio neither progeny would be offered for sale.

A three-time Australian Horse of the Year, Black Caviar was unbeaten in 25 starts.
