Thursday 27 August 2015, 6:58am

Brisbane jockey Tim Bell will start a new phase of his career having been given a licence to ride in Singapore.

Bell, winner of the 2013/14 Brisbane premiership, will start his contract on September 14 with the licence granted until December 31, the end of the Singapore season.

The 22-year-old rode a winner at Kranji in July, his first visit to Singapore.

West Australian jockey Brad Parnham has had his licence extended until the end of the season.

The Singapore Turf Club has also granted a licence to Brazililan Antonio Davielson Correira da Silva.

A seven-time Group One winner in Brazil, Da Silva follows in the footsteps of countrymen Joao Moreira and Manoelo Nunes.

Moreira won multiple premierships in Singapore before heading to Hong Kong while Nunes is now the leading Singapore rider.
