Clear weather and rising temperatures in Sydney could prompt Brisbane trainer Kelly Schweida to bring Golden Falls to Sydney for her next start.
Golden Falls would have been a short-priced favourite at the Sunshine Coast on Saturday but Schweida scratched her because of the soft track.
The trainer has been reluctant to take her straight to Sydney because she is lowly rated and the tracks have been heavy.
"There is a 1400 metre mares race at Rosehill on Saturday but I won't be making any decision until I speak with her owners who are away at the moment," Schweida said.
He said he had always rated Golden Falls a stakes horse but he had no intention of rushing her.
Golden Falls has won two of her six starts and been placed in three others.
Fellow trainer Trevor Thomas is also looking south with Ellawisdom, winner of a 1200m fillies and mares race at the Sunshine Coast on Saturday.
Ellawisdom came from the tail of the field to swamp the leaders in the last 100m.
"I am glad they have had some metropolitan meetings at the Sunshine Coast so she could show what she could do," Thomas said.
"She can run very good sectional times but she doesn't like being inside horses."
"Also she doesn't like Doomben all that much. The bigger tracks suit her."
"There are some nice races for her in Sydney and I have had a trip there in the back of my mind but first we will look for another metropolitan race here for her."
