Harrison, Fradd get bans

Wednesday 22 July 2015, 5:25pm

Jockeys Tegan Harrison and Robbie Fradd were suspended for interference at a rain-soaked meeting at Doomben on Wednesday.

Harrison was sent out for six meetings for causing interference aboard Landale in Cellarbrations Liquor Handicap.

Chief steward Martin Knibbs said stewards took into account the fact Harrison had not been suspended since last October and she had pleaded guilty.

Fradd was suspended for eight meetings for his ride on It's On the Pocket in the Benchmark 80 Hcp.

Mr Knibbs said Fradd had been suspended in June for a similar offence and could get no discount for his guilty plea.

Both suspensions start on Sunday night.
