Star steeplechaser Bashboy and reigning Australian Jumper of the Year Gotta Take Care headline the fields for the two feature jumps races at Bendigo on Sunday.

The Ciaron Maher-trained Bashboy made his first jumps start of the season at Warrnambool earlier this month, lumping 72kg to victory in the Thackaray Steeplechase.

The dual Grand National Steeplechase winner headlines a field of nine in the Mosstrooper Steeplechase while the Darren Weir-trained Gotta Take Care will attempt to win his fourth-straight Brendan Drechsler Hurdle.

Gotta Take Care is the 71kg topweight in a field of 12 for the Brendan Drechsler which will be his first hurdle start of the year.

He won a jumps trial by six lengths on Wednesday at Warrnambool to confirm his place in Sunday's race.
