Brenton Avdulla chases new goal at Gosford

Thursday 25 June 2015, 6:54am

Brenton Avdulla has ridden 100 winners nationally this season and now he wants to achieve the same milestone on NSW tracks.

The jockey reached his century at Canterbury on Wednesday, a figure that included two interstate victories.

He has set himself a fresh goal to post another brace of wins on NSW racetracks to take his state-wide tally of victories to 100.

Avdulla's mission starts at Gosford on Thursday when he has rides in eight of the nine races.

Half of them are for top Newcastle trainer Kris Lees, including two-year-old Fashion Sniptz whose two career runs are highlighted by a fourth to subsequent Pago Pago Stakes winner Tarquin.
