Glyn Schofield is expected to be fit to ride Boban in the $2 million Stradbroke Handicap despite injuring his ankle in a barrier mishap at Gosford.
The jockey's foot became jammed in the starting stalls when the David Payne-trained Be Like Dad reared in the gates before the first race.
Steward Ray Livingstone said Schofield suffered a sprain and was replaced on his remaining mounts when the injury didn't improve after being iced.
"It wasn't progressing well enough so he's off to the physio," Livingstone said.
"It's just a sprain, he hasn't broken anything, and he certainly doesn't envisage any problems with riding this weekend."
Boban, a last-start winner of the Doomben 10,000, is a $9 chance for the Stradbroke Handicap.
