Tim Clark lost on two counts in the Magic Millions Guineas at the Gold Coast on Saturday.

He had to be content with the runner-up position on Testashadow and later found himself on the wrong side of stewards when he was hit with a nine-meetings careless riding suspension.

Stewards found Clark guilty of allowing Testashadow to shift in near the winning post causing a chain reaction of interference to She's Miss Devine and Bold Circle.

Clark's suspension starts after next Saturday's Randwick meeting.

He will resume riding on February 2.
