It doesn’t get any better than winning at Flemington on Melbourne Cup Day. Hijack Hussy was simply awesome breaking 33 seconds for her final 600m which was probably the fastest sectional of the day at Flemington. She was turned out in great shape by Tony Gollan and perfectly ridden by Michael Rodd. Her win was very satisfying as I had spoken to Tony before this preparation and had this race in mind for her if she showed us enough in Brisbane to justify the trip south.  Read more »
