Description

Racing NSW BOBS eligible & Yearling Colt by Moonlark and out of a Snippetson mare he is from the family of MISS JUGAH a 10-time winner including a Group 3 and has won over $442,900 in prizemoney.

Page isn't as good as it should be with dam having eye injury after winning unofficial trial by five lengths. Second dam died after only having two foals including his dam.

. Incredible quality of type. Great pedigree dynamics with 3 x 4 inbreeding of speed machine Phone Trick (10 starts 9 wins 1 second, and sire of Favourite Trick 8 starts 8 wins as a 2yo and who was the first horse since Secretariat to be named Horse Of The Year while still a 2yo).

Moonlarks eldest progeny just turned 2yo and impressing. Fabulous temperaments and this bloke is as good as they get in that department also.

From the second crop of foals by Moonlark (USA). Moonlark, trained by Bob Baffert, smashed G2 winner Stoneside by six and half lengths in 1100m sprint. Please watch video. Track record for that year and just shy of track record for all time while being eased to the line. A knee injury saw him unable to continue with his explosive speed and was retired.

There is alot you probably don't know about Moonlark, like the fact his dam's half siblings that are entire (n5) are ALL BLACK TYPE horses and are standing stallions in the USA. so impressive is his distaff line his grandam a $1Million broodmare. His dams half brother was a (then) record breaking USD$2Million 2yo in training purchase. And Moonlark being by Gone West (USA) needs no explanation there - though I will add Sepoy and Speightstown are also members of his male line dominance.

This colt is sensational and even with my bad photography his quality shines through. First few pics as a foal, bottom pics as weanling. Updated pics on request. Inspection and Vet check welcome. A bargain here.
