Description

This filly is by Group 1 Golden Rose and Group 1 Rupert Clarke winner Toorak Toff - a first season sire whose yearlings have fetched up to $300,000 through their first two seasons. The son of Show A Heart stands at Victorian based Rosemont Stud and with his oldest horses only 2-year-olds big things are expected in the coming months.


"She's a half-sister to 7-time 2YO Stakes winner Grand Tycoon - in fact he won his first 7 starts as a 2-year-old - so there's plenty to like about the family our filly descends from" said FLR's Tim Wilson. "She's also from a Stakes performed mare in Scottattitude (she'll be a fun one to name!)"


She was trainer Simon Zahra's favourite yearling from the Tasmania Yearling Sales and it's easy to see why.


“She's just got a bit of class this filly” said Zahra. "There's an X-factor to her, she's a lovely moving filly, great temperament and it seems a lot of Victorian trainers have a 2YO Toorak Toff they like in their stables."

"We've shopped well in Tassie in recent years. Olafsson ($21,000 yearling) won at his 2nd start and in the same year Pura Vida ($52,500 yearling) who somehow isn't already a winner from her 4 career starts. She'll be winning soon enough and our Domesday filly from last year Eschatology ($34,000 yearling) was an impressive trial winner at Flemington in January so it's great buying down there."


Inclusive of purchase price, purchase costs, 12 months insurance, transport from Tasmania, breaking-in etc and all costs until 31 March 2016 she is only $5,695 including GST per 10% share (with 5% shares at $2,850 also available).
