Hinchinbrook big chance to take out the Magic Millions
This horse was the one horse we intended to come home with.!! Given a huge wrap by the people handling the horse they suggested he was a serious horse who both owners and jockeys thought was capable of winning a city race now. He is a lovely put together horse who has speed characteristics in his confirmation that suggests not only should he run well as a two year old but would be able to train on as older staying type horse. Being early in the sale really helped us and this meant we were able to buy him close to half price especially considering the results later in the day. In fact stablemates made 3-4 times what this fellow did and the jockey said without a doubt this is the one you wanted to take home and own !!
Naturally his breeze up was excellent running an easy 11.02. The time in the Breeze up was only fair but you will notice that the horse was restrained and made to “throttle down”. It was also a earlier trial and the ground was more rain effected than the later trials. You will see he does a few things wrong , changes leg, head on the side etc but his action was good and the feel was highly rated.

THE PLAN
Everything he has done suggests he will be a decent horse but will not only go early but also train on
Of course though like with all our young horses if Kris is of the opinion he wont measure up to Saturday grade at this cost we have plenty of wiggle room to on sell him into Asia for a profit and is a good exit strategy
The sire is doing very well at present and whilst they are natural runners they are more three year old types. The dam’s job has been exceptional with a number of genuine Group horses plus the Danehill cross with Zabeel mares has worked wonders in the past
We have also since using this system 100% runners to winners of every horse we have every brought not only at the ready to run sales but in Europe and Australia
