This colt was accepted for the 2015 Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale but the breeders have elected to retain a 50% share in him and have him trained at Lindsay Park.

He is a very good type of horse, with good size, length and quality. He has just completed his breaking in at Lindsay Park and was turned out for a spell on 1 May 2015.

Group 2 winning stallion WRITTEN TYCOON is one of the hottest sires in the country. He sired an amazing five individual stakes winners in the month of February 2015.

He is currently sitting equal fourth (as at 6/3/15) on the 2014/15 Australian Sires Premiership in terms of number of individual stakes winners (7) along with EXCEED AND EXCEL and SNITZEL.

Best known as the sire of rising star RICH ENUFF, who was the dominant three year old in the early part of the spring when winning the Listed McKenzie Stakes, Group 2 Danehill Stakes (1200m) and the Group 3 Guineas Prelude (1400m) before running a game second in the Group 1 Caulfield Guineas.

The majority of WRITTEN TYCOON's progeny are at their best over sprint trips and include the Group 2 Caulfield Sprint winner HOWMUCHDOYOULOVEME, TRUMP, IT IS WRITTEN, the $960k earner MASTHEAD, Inglis Premier winner STOKER, WRITTEN DASH, VIBRANT ROUGE and TYCOON TARA. His first two crops (currently 5yos and 6yos) have a combined winners to runners ratio of in excess of 76%.

Interestingly, eight of WRITTEN TYCOON's 11 stakes winners so far have been colts or geldings.

The WRITTEN TYCOON yearlings have been well sought after this year and sold at an average of $118,000 at the Gold Coast Magic Millions Sale in January. They will be even more in demand after his amazing 5 stakes winners in the month of Febuary.

The talented SUPER BUCKS (originally trained by David Hayes) started her career by being thrown into the deep end when 5th behind future Australian Horse of the Year TYPHOON TRACY on debut at Moonee Valley. She bounced back to win next start (over 1400m) and concluded her 12 start career with three wins and three placings to her credit.

This colt is SUPER BUCK's third foal, her first foal is this colt's three year old full-brother, SUPER TYCOON won a two year old race at Newcastle by five lengths in July 2014, and won a very strong trial (defeating stakes winners LAW and SWEYNESSE) by 1.5 lengths at Rosehill on 20 January 2015.

SUPER BUCK'S dam, ANEMONE GARDEN won two races and was second in the Listed Leopardstown Brownstown Stud Stakes behind Champion filly TIMARIDA (Triple Group One winner). ANEMONE GARDEN is a grand-daughter of English One Thousand Guineas winner CAERGWRLE.

This colt is bred on the same WRITTEN TYCOON/DASH FOR CASH cross that has produced recent G3 Typhoon Tracy stakes winner WRITTEN DASH.
