Horsham meeting moved to Warracknabeal

Monday 13 August 2018, 2:26pm

A recently added race meeting to the Victorian program at Horsham has had to be transferred.

Racing Victoria last week added a turf meeting at Horsham on Tuesday to compensate for last Wednesday's Bendigo program being called off because of wet weather.

RV announced on Monday that Tuesday's Horsham meeting had been moved to Warracknabeal which is rated in the soft range.

"Horsham Racecourse received 21mm of rain last week and 12mm on the weekend, and after a steward's inspection of the track this morning, the decision was made to transfer tomorrow's meeting," RV said.

Because of the move there have been some changes to field sizes and distances.
