The end of the racing season will highlight several records,particularly in Brisbane.

Jeff Lloyd, who rode a treble at Ipswich on Wednesday, will set a metropolitan record of at least 137 winners and a Queensland record of at least 181 victories for the season.

The veteran jockey is set to miss the first two weeks of the 2017/18 season after getting two suspensions last weekend but will be on hand at Doomben on Saturday to collect get his second successive premiership trophy.

Tiffani Brooker will finish the season as leading apprentice with at least 50 wins after another victory at Ipswich on Wednesday.

She already holds the record for a female apprentice in a Brisbane season and needs to ride one more to equal Tegan Harrison's record set two seasons ago of 51 as the most metropolitan winners in a season by any female rider.

Saturday's meeting will also confirm that three women have finished in the top spots in the metropolitan apprentices' race - Brooker, Lani Fancourt, who is on 26 heading to Doomben and Rebecca Williams on 18.

Tony Gollan will win his fourth straight trainer's premiership with at least 76 winners and will remain in a battle for the state title with Ben Currie until after Sunday's Caloundra meeting.
