Premiership pacesetter Jim Byrne's suspension on Saturday isn't expected to impact his bid to win the Brisbane senior riders' title.
Byrne pleaded guilty to causing interference while riding Mischievous Devil in the BRC Plate at Doomben.
Stewards banned Byrne for six meetings with the suspension to expire on Friday, July 10.
Byrne leads the premiership on 64 winners, seven clear of Luke Tarrant who is suspended until August.
The nearest to Byrne in the premiership race is Tim Bell who is 13 winners behind.
Jockey Brad Stewart was suspended for seven meetings for causing interference on Handyman Bob in the Robert Bax Associates Handicap.
Stewart's ban will start on July 8 after he finishes a suspension of six meetings from last Wednesday's Doomben meeting.
