Our Harmony to chase hat-trick of wins

Wednesday 17 June 2015, 5:19pm

Three-year-old Our Harmony will be out to continue her rise through the grades when she chases a third-straight metropolitan win at Moonee Valley on Saturday.

The David Brideoake-prepared filly has scored successive victories on her home track of Mornington in metropolitan-standard races and her trainer has been buoyed by the form surrounding the filly.

Our Harmony defeated Rough Justice two starts ago and that gelding subsequently finished a short head second to Husson Eagle at Flemington on Saturday.

"I think the formline is terrific going into the race," Brideoake said.

Our Harmony is the highest-rated filly in Saturday's Kane Construction Handicap (1200m) which has earned her topweight of 60kg.

Her impost is the concern for Brideoake but apprentice Brandon Stockdale has been booked for the ride and will claim 3kg.

"That weight has been given to her for a reason and that reason is her form is impeccable," Brideoake said.

"Her work on Tuesday morning was top class work."

Our Harmony carried 58.5kg to win a benchmark 70 race for fillies last start.

Brideoake is keen to continue Our Harmony's campaign into the winter as she is eligible for Super Vobis bonuses.

"There's a few more opportunities in winter and then she'll probably rest through the spring and there might be something in the autumn next year for her," he said.

"I think she's a progressive type."
