This Stunning and Athletic Broodmare, by Conatus is out of the Hellisio Mare Trojan Lass, who is the half sister to “Top Dolly” and “Dux of the Class”, both Stakes performers. Confidante was unraced and is the half sister to “Trojan Warrior”. Her Grand Dam is “Currabahah” by Northern Spring, a winner of 12 races to 1250M. She produced 15 named foals, with 14 to race – ALL Winners, including the likes of Stakes Winners “Pete’s Potion” and “Ponton Flyer”. Ponton Flyer is the dam of Stakes Winners - Black Vanquish, Minnesota Shark and Miss Octopussy. This is a strong and proven family of consistent short course performers, with the Foal Colt by Swiss Ace no exception!!


Given her pedigree, it was felt that Shamoline Warrior would be a strong fit for her, given the success enjoyed by her half brother “Trojan Warrior” by Postponed. This breeding provides for a triple cross of Mr. Prospector and introduces Sir Tristram, Deputy Minister and Dehere. This pairing will lay the foundation for strong progeny that would not only have good natural speed, bone and muscle, but also stay over ground. This cross will make for a fantastic 3YO Racehorse to target all the Classic Races and beyond as potential Cups prospects. The due date for the foal is the 23/09/2016 - Brilliant Early Service Date and Cycle for the mare – given the frustrating breeding season we just encountered.


Complimenting the package is this “Cracking” Colt. Strong, Athletic and with plenty of natural muscle, this "Well Balanced" Foal at foot is correct and by proven and leading NZ Sire, "Swiss Ace". As you can clearly see he is well conformed and a correct specimen with no defects or abnormalities. He has a great shoulder, girth and reign, supported by a fantastic hindquarter and great Gasken. He is built for speed and is the pick of the “Swiss Ace” foals on the property and will certainly impress on inspection. He has a great nature, kind eye and will command a strong price at the "Premier" yearling sales.
