Another Group One win for Aidan O'Brien

Friday 19 August 2016, 7:04am

Aidan O'Brien's domination of the British Flat season has continued with the master trainer saddling three of three of the first four home in the Yorkshire Oaks led by Seventh Heaven.

Stablemate Found was the 2-1 favourite but it was Seventh Heaven who got the upper hand in the Group One race by 2-3/4 lengths with the Sir Michael Stoute-trained Queen's Trust taking third ahead of Pretty Perfect.

O'Brien said the Coolmore team was leaning to the Breeders' Cup meeting for Seventh Heaven over Ascot Champions day.

"The lads will decide what they want to do, but she's a lot of options," O'Brien said.

"She's a beautiful traveller and is a massive, rangy filly that handles fast ground very well.

"She has plenty of class and has the option of all those fillies' races and there's the option of the Filly and Mare Turf in America at the end of the year.

"Because she wants nice ground we're more guaranteed to get that in America than at Ascot but as Champions Day is run on the inside course this year that could all change."

Earlier the Richard Fahey-trained Queen Kindly won the Group Two Lowther Stakes with another Frankel filly, Fair Eva, third.
