Proven Speed Sire with 67.8% Winners to Runners

El Nino, son of super-sire, Storm Cat, has recently chalked up his 19th Winner from 28 Runners. Racing at Metropolitan level, winning multiple races, leading all the way.

As his first Australian foals approach their official 1st birthday, his third USA crop commenced their racing careers in fairly typical devastating form, shooting out of the barriers to lead from start to finish.

July 1st winner, London Gold, having his second race start, led all the way to win by 8 ½ lengths over 1200m in an Indiana Downs Special Weight Maiden, whilst Aziforcast won her second race from 5 starts by 4 ½ lengths at Indiana Downs over 1200m on 26 June.

His flurry of recent winners in the past fortnight also include 3 year old colt, Surprize Me, who broke his Maiden, in his fourth career race, over 1100m on turf at Colonial Downs, and Indy El Nino and Maengsan Horangi notched up their fifth career wins at Fairmount , and Seoul respectively.

El Nino now has progeny earnings in excess of $1 million, led by Black Type performer, Senor Rain ($313,400 – 6 wins, 2 at 2 years, STAKES placed four times) and Sacred Romance ($104,185 – 3 Wins)

He will stand his third Australian season, along with Group 1 winning 2 Year Old, Changeintheweather (Gone West) at Merlo Downs, Rockhampton.
