More than 1,000 guests attended the inaugural Aquis Farm Stallion Parade and Open Day at Canungra on Sunday as the operation unveiled its full roster of stallions and a stunning incentive scheme for breeders.

Aquis Farm Chief Operations Officer Marcus Langer said he was delighted by the response from local breeders to the Stallion roster and the new incentive scheme for Spill The Beans announced on the day.

"It was a great day with more than 1,000 people attending and very strong interest in each of the stallions. Our nominations team were overwhelmed with the demand for all the stallions with Holy Roman Emperor's book now full,” Langer revealed.

"Spill The Beans is also proving very popular with breeders who are very excited about his potential. We think he can grow to become Queensland's leading sire and we saw plenty of breeders willing to back our optimism.

"The incentives we announced on the day were also very well received and we expect to take plenty more nominations over the next week and beyond.

"For many people it was their first visit to Aquis Farm and we want to thank them for their support.”

The incentive scheme announced on Sunday centres around rewarding breeders that support Spill the Beans.

To become eligible for the bonuses offered below, a breeder needs to secure two Aquis Farm Nominations, with at least one to Spill The Beans.

1st Spill The Beans Colt Saturday Metropolitan Class winner, the breeder receives $25,000

1st Spill The Beans Filly Saturday Metropolitan Class winner, the breeder receives $25,000

1st Spill The Beans Group or Listed Winner (Colt or Filly), the breeder receives $50,000

Highest earning Spill The Beans progeny at the end of 2YO season, the breeder receives $100,000

(Prize money calculation does not include individual state bonus schemes/ incentives – race club allocated prize money only counts. Aquis Farm and Arrowfield bred mares are not eligible for this scheme).

The day started with a welcoming speech from Justin Fung, who highlighted expansion plans for Aquis Farm and reiterated the passion and commitment he and his father Tony share for the Australian breeding industry.

"On behalf of my father I want to thank everybody for taking the time to visit Aquis Farm and see firsthand the exciting roster of stallions we have standing this year,” Justin Fung said.

"We think the Queensland breeding and racing industry has an exciting future and can not only recover, but grow to challenge the southern states for quality and consistency. Our plan is to continue growing the Farm with plans to introduce another four stallions in each of the next couple of years.”

Holy Roman Emperor, Domesday, Spill The Beans and Benfica paraded in stellar fashion before a packed crowd featuring many NSW and Queensland breeders including TBA President Basil Nolan, Magic Millions Managing Director Vin Cox and Racing Australia/ Racing NSW Chairman and Arrowfield Stud Principal, John Messara.

Guests enjoyed the hospitality of Aquis Farm for the remainder of the afternoon under sparkling sunny skies with superb food supplied by renowned Gold Coast restaurant Moo Moo and entertainment for all ages.

Farm tours offered guests the chance to explore further, while children were well looked after in the dedicated 'kids corner' with face painting, pony rides and balloon blowing.

Guest speaker Michelle Payne was a delight and took time out after her 'Q & A' appearance for selfies and autographs with her many fans, young and old.

Aquis Farm wish to thank all those involved in putting together this memorable day and our guests for their support and enthusiasm.

If you're considering using one of their stallions, please contact one of the Nominations team at your earliest convenience.
