Jockeys on stand-by for Tatt's Tiara

Wednesday 17 June 2015, 4:43pm

Racing Queensland stewards have given permission for the trainers of three Tattersall's Tiara runners to delay confirming riders for their horses.

Chief steward Alan Reardon said the connections of Politeness, Diademe and Dublin Lass wanted to use jockeys who had been declared to ride emergencies.

Tommy Berry has been booked for second reserve Najoom but will partner Politeness if the Gai Waterhouse-trained filly fails to secure a start.

Jim Byrne, currently on third emergency Jazz Song, is on stand-by for the mount on Dublin Lass while Luke Tarrant will link with Diademe if first emergency Tarloshan doesn't gain a start.

Fourth reserve Vergara has been scratched from the Tatt's Tiara to run at the Randwick meeting in Sydney.
