Talented mare Chloe In Paris is heading in the right direction after claiming her first black-type victory at Flemington on Saturday.
With the victory in the Bob Hoysted Handicap (1000m) trainer Ciaron Maher can now start looking at bigger options with the four-year-old.
Providing Craig Williams with the third leg of a winning treble, Chloe In Paris ($4.40) scored a three-quarters of a length victory from Peron ($8) with Flamberge ($4.80) 1-1/4 lengths away third.
Chloe In Paris has now won her three races back following surgery to remove a knee chip and Maher said the mare was now sounder than ever.
Maher will look to add a Group race to Chloe In Paris' record.
"She can maybe go to the William Reid or wherever now," Maher said.
"We've got her nominated for the TJ Smith as well but this win opens up a lot of options."
Williams said Maher and his team deserved the credit for turning out Chloe In Paris in top order saying she is a happy and healthy horse.
"She had control of the race after the first 50 metres and when I took her off the bridle she was really strong late," Williams said.
