RUBY SOHO (By PUBLISHING) is the best performed runner and highest priced yearling filly for her little known sire PUBLISHING (By TESTA ROSSA). Mature and with speed to burn she made her 2yo debut in October 2013 staying on well for third at Doomben – displaying one of her key traits in finishing off her races well. This trait held her in good light when she ran on to take 3rd in the 2013 Listed Calaway Gal Stakes behind OAKLEIGH GIRL. She followed this with a dominant win at Ipswich over 1100m
.
She saved her best performance for the grandest stage in Australia for early 2yos – the MM 2yo Classic at the Gold Coast. Against the boys she settled in the rear before tracking UNENCUMBERED into the race and running home well again for a clear third with the likes of ECHO GAL & I AM THE GENERAL beaten in behind. She only raced as a 2yo but raced seven times – finishing out of the money only once with earnings in excess of $200,000. She is a Magic Millions filly through and through
