This filly has as her 4th dam, arguably Australia's greatest ever racemare WENONA GIRL, winner of 11 Gr1's. She in turn was the dam of SPECIAL GIRL. It took the mighty Vain to defeat her in their Golden Slipper

This filly's pedigree is under pinned in the first instance by GOLDEN CHARIOT ( 5th dam of this filly ). She, along with Denise's Joy and a handful of other mares were mentioned by the Keeper of the Stud Book as the most influential matriarchs in colonial breeding history...Why?

She is the dam of WENONA GIRL, winner of 11 Gr1's, 15 under today's classification. She in turn is the dam of SPECIAL GIRL who started fav in the GOLDEN SLIPPER , but was runner up to the mighty VAIN.

GOLDEN CHARIOT is also the dam of EMBLEM, Gr1 winner- head of the 1960-61 2yo Free handicap classification.

Also the dam of GRAMMAR LAD , Listed winner, anf 5 times Gr1 placed, incl GOLDEN SLIPPER- rated 2nd in the 1961-62 2yo Free handicap classification, almost bringing off a remarkable back to back titles for sons of GOLDEN CHARIOT.

Also, the dam of Carrus, in turn the dam of 8 winners, including FARNWORTH , runner up in the GOLDEN SLIPPER.
