A change of circumstances has forced me to offer my 30% of this horse at less than half the purchase fee. While the trainer's plan was always to take our time with Margarita (stable name), he is aiming to have her ready for a trial race this time (she returned to the stables last week). So you are buying at less than 50% of the purchase price a well-bred filly that has been broken in and patiently trained and spelled for the last 12 months to allow her to mature. In the trainer's recent report he indicated "I anticipate her style to lean towards the mile to middle-distance range. Among Saxon Warrior's progeny, she shows a sense of speed. Her growth is gradual, but I hope we can aim for her debut this time. I really want her to develop into a horse capable of aiming for the Oaks next year."


By the Coolmore’s own Deep Impact successful sire Saxon Warrior whose crops have been bringing high prices at the Australian sales last year and this year. Saxon Warrior himself was a dominant racehorse winning G1s as a 2&3yo both beating Roaring Lion in Europe. His first crops have already won black type races including the G1 Breeder’s cup Juvenile winner Victoria Road.


The dam Cocktail Hour raced under the famous Arrowfield stud colours around the Sydney area before heading to the stud. She’s by the legendary stallion Redoute’s Choice who’s the No.1 Broodmare sire rankings for a long time in Australia.


This filly’s brother I’m a Shaker(by Kobayashi) on 27th Feb 2023 ridden at Port Macquarie by Aaron Bullock got the chocolates in the $27000.00 Maiden Set Weight, defeating Fine Example.


The dam line goes back to the famous USA’s Secretariat and has produced the Japan’s G1 winner and the Sprint Champion, Grand Prix Boss. He was trained by the Champion trainer Yoshito Yahagi who also trained the Cox Plate winner Lys Gracieux, Saudi Cup winner & Sydney’s QE Stakes runner Panthalassa and more.
