We are very pleased with this The Autumn Sun Filly, that certainly looks the part, ticks all the boxes and is an outstanding type.


This filly is bred on the similar cross as Group 1 winners FLYING SPUR, EXCEED AND EXCEL and SNITZEL.


The filly has been broken in and Gordon Pratt (the breaker) says, “quite a lot of quality about her, moves really well and really pleased with the way she has broken in and the feel she gave me”.


Our filly has passed 100% clean on her clinical examination and x-rays and was rated a low risk.

David Mourad (BBT Racing Manager) comments:   Flashy filly by The Autumn Sun x Solid Bullet, very excited to have an Autumn Sun in the stable. Now, he was an exceptional racehorse! First season sire and is throwing lovely horses and this filly is no exception. What I love most about her is the way she moves, got this beautiful overstep and lovely fluent action. She is a beautiful type, we love her.


Sheamus Mills (Bloodstock Agent) comments:  My breaker tells me the early mail in these horses are really strong. I know there is 4 or 5 at the moment at the breakers and they really like their brains. This Filly is a lovely Filly and comes from a strong family. I think she will train on nicely as a 3YO.

She’s a lovely filly, a young boom Stallion that took all before him as racehorse, with a very good female pedigree page behind her. This is a family that has produced VERY good females and namely the Oaks winner HOLLOW BULLET.


The Sire: THE AUTUMN SUN


The Autumn Sun in just nine starts over 11 months rocketed to stardom with an escalating series of championship victories that ranked him with Australia's best colts of the past quarter-century, including his own legendary sire, Redoute's Choice. He began with a brilliant 2YO debut win at Randwick on Anzac Day 2018, sprinting over 1200 metres in class record time of 1:08.61. Eleven months later, The Autumn Sun was head of his generation, winner of $3.4 million and 5 Group 1 races from 1400 to 2000m in 9 starts, and the only horse to win the three major Australian Guineas races at Caulfield, Randwick & Rosehill


The Dam: SOLID BULLET


SOLID BULLET is by Champion of Champion Sire and Broodmare sire, ENCOSTA DE LAGO, who has produced as a broodmare sire, Group 1 winners HAPPY CLAPPER and IMPENDING. He is the broodmare sire of earnings more than $266 million. SOLID BULLET was winner over 1500m and is a direct descendent to 24 Stakes winners & performers including Group 1 winners HOLLOW BULLET, ALISHAN and GRANDIOSE.


The Trainer: PETER MOODY


Peter Moody is considered a great trainer by most in the industry arguably training the best horse the world has ever witnessed in Black Caviar. Peter Moody stats speak for themselves with 2577 career wins with 56 at Group 1 level amassing over $115 million in prizemoney.


Peter’s strike rate is not short of amazing with a win strike rate of 18% and an incredible Group 1 strike rate of 10%. He will set up his return to training with boxes at Pakenham.


Peter Moody has commented, "I am [excited]. I'm a bit tentative about it, I've got to learn to get back out there and get on the tools again but not too much has changed," he said. “I’ve got no doubt I'll be a better trainer this time around because I'm going to be more relaxed and be able to manage my time much better, and I'll have a smaller team."

Share Price:  2.5% share $5,490 or 5% share $10,980 or 10% share $21,960


BUY NOW PAY LATER: $1,372.50 upfront followed by 3 equal monthly repayments of $1,372.50 (applicable per 2.5% share).


Share Price Includes – Purchase Price, Nominations and Bonus Schemes, Agistment, X-Rays and Scoping and Mortality Insurance which is covered up to the 28th February 2023.


Monthly Flat Fee for a 2.5% share per month is $155.00 (incl. GST) and for a 5% share per month is $310.00 (incl. GST) and so on. The Monthly Flat Fee includes Ongoing Racing Expenses (i.e. $120 per 2.5% share per month) and Management Fee (i.e. $35 per 2.5% share per month, capped at $140 per month for 10% share and above).
