Description

GAI WATERHOUSE SAYS, “THIS COLT IS A CRACKER! I THINK HE’S A TERRIFIC COLT. YOU SHOULD BUY A SHARE IN HIM”.

Horse Shares are available in this fantastic looking colt, and we could not believe our luck in securing him for such outstanding value. Consequently he gets the hall of fame trainer, Gai Waterhouse’s biggest push, “I THINK HE’S A TERRIFIC COLT. I THINK YOU SHOULD BUY A SHARE IN HIM”. This colt is also bred on a similar cross as Group 1 winners IMPENDING, PIERATA and ARCADIA QUEEN.

He is certainly well put together, great size about him, he’s tall and leggy very much like his sire PIERRO. The colt has been broken in and will be heading into pre-training on the 1st of August.

The colt will boast the Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott polish and as a result, they will give him the best chance to succeed at the track.

Please listen to the comments in the video from Gai Waterhouse, Adrian Bott, David Mourad and Sheamus Mills and secure your share today. This colt will not last long.

Furthermore our Colt passed 100% clinical examination and x-rays as low risk.

David Mourad (BBT Racing Manager)comments: Lot 289 of the Inglis Classic Sale Pierro colt out of Talisa, really like this horse, obviously great pedigree being by one of our top stallions PIERRO out of the mare Talisa who is a half-sister to NIKITA JANE and we know how good he was.

Sheamus Mills (Bloodstock Agent) comments: Lot 289 of the Inglis Classic Sale Pierro colt out of Talisa, Pierro needs no introduction CHAMPION RACE HORSE CHAMPION SIRE, REGAL POWER and LEVENDI just 2 of his Group 1 winners. This colt is very typical of what the sire gets, good size, good colour and really stamped by his sire.

Gai Waterhouse (Trainer) comments: Pierro x Talisa colt is a CRACKER, he’s bred on a fantastic farm Newgate in Scone and the progeny from this farm win all the Group 1 races. This colt is really EXCEPTIONAL, he’s tall, leggy, he’s HEY MAN I’M A COOL DUDE. I think he’s a terrific colt and I think you should buy a share in him.

The Sire:PIERRO

PIERRO, as a racehorse, broke records. UNBEATEN TRIPLE CROWN WINNER at 2 year old, with 6 wins at 2 including the richest 2yo race in the world, the ATC Golden Slipper Group 1. Then went onto win the ATC Sires Produce Stakes Group 1 and the ATC Champagne Stakes Group 1. PIERRO also continued his winning ways being a DUAL GROUP 1 WINNER at 3 year old including the ATC Canterbury Stakes Group 1 and the ATC George Ryder Stakes Group 1. The highest-rated Australian juvenile since 1977, also the highest-rated 3yo sprinter in the world in 2013.

As a Sire, not much has changed at stud for PIERRO, Champion First & Second Season Sire in Australia. Pierro has a diverse pedigree, carrying multiple representatives of several important families. A review of his stakes winners to-date reveals some marked preferences. Free of DANEHILL, Pierro is an obvious choice for mares from this prolific sire line.

Third on Aust. Sires List in 2019-20. Sire of 347 progeny to race, 243 winners (70.0%), earnings of over $53 million, 24 stakes winners, 17 stakes placegetters including 6 at Group 1 level including ARCADIA QUEEN, SHADOW HERO and LEVENDI.

His current service fee is $99,000

The Dam: TALISA

The Dam, TALISA is by sire MANHATTAN RAIN. TALISA was a winner up to 1400m is close descendent to Grp 1 winner NEKEETA JANE. Other close related stakes runners are 2nd Dam Lustre Lady and Grp 1 Oaks winner JET SKI LADY.

Trainers: GAI WATERHOUSE & ADRIAN BOTT

Gai & Adrian have gone on to achieve as much as humanly possible with racehorses. While many would rest on their laurels after such success, Gai simply wants to win more and more. Owners can rest assured that the Lady Trainer wants to win races just as much if not more than they do!. Confirmation of this dedication to excellence came after just fifteen years of training. Gai was inducted into the Australian Racing Hall of Fame (2007). As we stand, in just over 20 years of training, Gai has amassed over 135 Group One wins. She currently sits third on the all-time list (Group One winners) behind T.J. Smith and Bart Cummings.

By far Gai’s greatest achievements have been recorded in the best races of the year in both Melbourne and Sydney. Gai has won Sydney’s two best races, the Golden Slipper and Doncaster Handicap six and seven times respectively. Gai is by far the most successful trainer ever in the Sydney Spring. ‘Make hay while the sun shines’ is a phrase one often can hear Gai quoting. This attitude is reflected by Gai’s results in the best races contested during the Sydney Spring Carnival. The Flight Stakes (7 wins), the Epsom Handicap (7 wins) and the Metropolitan Handicap (8 wins). These races have become races at the mercy of Gai each and every year.

Gai & Adrian give each and every horse that comes into their care every possible chance to succeed. Only six horses in the history of Sydney racing have won the two-year-old Triple Crown and Gai has also trained two of them (Dance Hero 2004 and Pierro 2012). Gai in fact has won more Group One races for two-year-olds than any other trainer.

Gai Waterhouse has had 1962 winner to date with a great career strike rate of 19% including 114 at Group 1 level.
