GAI’s VIEWS ABOUT PEIRRO

The brilliant racetrack career of Pierro has been well documented.

14 starts, he never missed a place, unbeaten at 2 and he won five Group 1 races.
The colt won over $4.5 million dollars on the track.

What is sometimes over looked is the fact that had this stallion run for another season, he no doubt would have made a champion middle distance horse.
He had all the speed and power as a two-year-old but his pedigree reads as if he were destined to become a champion at 2000m.

Pierro’s sire line reads Lonhro, Octagonal, Zabeel, Sir Tristram. There is not a better staying / middle distance sire line in the Southern Hemisphere.

On his dam’s side, apart from Sadler’s Wells, all Pierro’s relations have the (IRE) suffix after their names. This does not guarantee stamina but it certainly does help!

Results make the pedigree and Pierro in his brief time on the track showed that a colt who may have been purchased for a Cox Plate, could still dominate over the shorter trips.

In his career in races under a mile Pierro easily beat Snitzerland, Samaready, All Too Hard, More Joyous, Mufhasa and Rebel Dane.

All these horses have won Group 1 races at 1400m or under; many are multiple Group 1 winners.

Gai said she “cannot wait to get the sons and daughters of one of her best ever horses into the stable.”

Comments from 3 Leading Yearling Judges:

Dr Tim Roberts (Veterinarian)

"This Colt represents terrific value, he is raw and immature at the moment but he will be a seriously imposing individual in 6 months’ time. He is typical of the Pierro’s in that they all take a little bit of time mature but he has the makings of a wonderful horse."

"He is really nicely put together, he is full of athleticism, he has a good action and stands over good ground. He's a horse to aim at the Derbies and Cups as an older horse. Out of a Gr1 Oaks Winner by Danehill, I think he was one of the bargains of the Sale."

Dean Watt (Dynamic Syndications)

"Pierro has been an absolute revelation over the last 6 months; he is without doubt the most promising young Sire in the Southern Hemisphere and his progeny nick so well with Danehill and he's out of a Gr1 OAKS Winner."
"So he's by a Gr1 Winner from a Gr1 Winner - they simply can't come any better bred !"

"This is a really nicely put together individual, he's raw and immature at the moment and so he should be, since he's bred to be a middle distance Classics and Cups contender. However he's a top quality Colt and is going to furnish into a really masculine individual."

"I want to win a Derby. I've won an OAKS with Our Heavenly Body but I've run two seconds, a third and a fourth in Derbies (2nd Savabeel, 2nd De Beers, 3rd Set Up, 4th He's No Pie Eater), so I have a burning passion to win one. This colt has been specifically targeted on pedigree and type to aim at producing that win."
"He's a top quality colt bred to be a superstar and has been given to the HALL OF FAME trainer GAI to produce that win for us. He's sound and right of wind and limb so we've certainly ticked all the boxes."

GAI WATERHOUSE (Trainer):

"This Colt by Pierro is very exciting. The Sire is having an unbelievable run of success on the track and I have no doubt this Colt looks destined for the top. I just love the Pierro progeny and why wouldn’t I ? Pierro was my Champion 2yo and I have trained his Gr1 Winning daughter PINOT to win the VRC OAKS."

"He's out of a Danehill OAKS Winner and his second dam was also placed in an OAKS, so this colt is bred to stay all day and I am excited to aim him at the 3yo Classic races for you. He's one not miss out on."

MILER / MIDDLE DISTANCE Genetics: Optimum Distance: 2000m

Professional Bloodstock Consultants such as Dean Watt of Dynamic Syndications spend countless hours researching pedigrees and their genetic patterns and are aware when these same pedigree patterns have been replicated deliberately by the breeder in the hope that they may have bred a champion racehorse. Often however the breeder has accidentally or by pure chance produced a yearling to these patterns. This is what sets our company at the pinnacle of its field.

Our COLT with conformation and commercial (+ genetic) pedigree, has been specifically selected to target Black-Type 3yo CLASSIC Races.

The races of significance that all racing enthusiasts desire winning.

The HUGE PRIZEMONEY races which brings your horse stardom, riches and hopefully, immortality.

Classic racing is not a lucky-dip.

If the horse is not bred to be a middle distance contender in the first instance - then they can't win. They need the size, strength and conformation to handle the pressure. To win these races you must have the horse that meets the necessary criteria.

Astute equine investors have been contacting the Team at Dynamic Syndications aware of the quality this individual has and the conformation, size and scope that matches her brilliant pedigree.

We invite you to be a part of our specialist team that will race this wonderful Equine Investment.
