Description

This filly was the best bred filly of the recent William Inglis and Son sale and we had to have her as not only does she have some well bred relations running for her- she herself was a lovely lovely filly that once fully grown will be a queen. She has a half in South Africa who is looking like being a Group Class horse on the times he is running and this will only help her residual value
She will be Trained by Kris Lees

He is constantly in the Top 5 Trainers in Australia year In year Out – with not only the amount of winners he trains but an exceptionally high strike rate of placing his horses to perfection. Kris Doesn’t get the quality of bloodstock most big city trainers get but importantly they outperform and its why Kris is so successful and highly regarded

Below is some information on why we have brought her and why we suggest you consider her

DID YOU KNOW
• MEDAGLIA D’ORO Progeny averaged $185,000 this year in the Sales Ring
• MEDAGLIA D’ORO is one of the worlds top sires and so highly regarded
• This filly was scheduled to be kept to race but had to be sold due to tax implications
• Every purchase we have ever brought from SCONE has not only won a race or also made a profit

Why We Loved HERE

• This filly was presented by one of the best farms in the Hunter Valley in YARRAMAN PARK and had to be sold for tax reason and with this sale being the last sale – she went here
• If you like to see fillies light on their feet but with impeccable balance then you want her. She has plenty of growing to do but the best Medgalio D’oro horses are late 2yr olds anyway so this just helped just buy her for cheaper than we expected
• Of most importance for us though is BALANCE and if a horse is not balanced than its fair to say they are not going to be economical in their movements and therefore be able to perform at their optimum . THIS FILLY was certainly balanced and had a great ease of movement and power when she moved. She had good drive from behind and from the moment she paraded my notes in my sales book where ‘ SUPERMODEL”. She is a typical middle to late season horse who will improve as she continues to grow
• Obviously she is from a lovely family with speed and Stamina involved she looks like a horse who will be racing Christmas time or a bit after just depending on how she grows
• Physically she is a star and just has to grow into her body

Pedigree Musings

• Medaglia D’Oro is a superstar. He has a staggering 10.1% Runners to Stakes Winners- better than any other Stallion in Australia !!!
• His fillies average $117,000 in prizemoney each horse !!
• This filly has a half sister in Sth Africa that looks like a Stakes horse and if he is – this is greatly increased her residual value
• With so much 2yr old speed in this family we feel this filly would have significant resale value as a broodmare

Why You Should Buy Her

Simple I think we have brought her very well.
In our opinion he was in the top 10 fillies of the sale and when you look at her pedigree then she is a bargain. From a resale point of view If she matures into her frame then ive seen similar horses sell for $100k as a broodmare if she had any form and given the sister in South Africa is looking highly taleneted then she is bargain
She will be paid up for the INGLIS RACE SERIES- which includes the Restricted $100k Race at Scone- in which we have run 3rd and 5th in 2018 and in which we won in 2017
We are keeping a few shares ourselves
She is BOBS eligible
Going through the sales ring we thought we would need $60k-$70k for her such is her pedigree
The fact she has a number of well bred siblings to follow gives us a double chance that if they do something they can make our girl work significant money

SPECIAL DEAL

If she doesn’t win a race we will give you a FREE SHARE in a choice of 2 horses at a later date- we are very confident with him- however as all our purchases have either won a race or earnt their money back we are very confident this girl is in the same mould
