What do I need to place an advertisement?

You will need to prepare details of your advertisement, such as a catchy title, description, features and price. You will also have the opportunity to upload photos and video of the horse.

How much does an advertisement cost?

To advertise your horse on Bloodstock.com.au, a flat one-off listing fee of $99 (incl. GST) applies. There are no commissions and no hidden costs. A full catalogue pedigree page is included with every advertisement at no charge. You can make an unlimited number of changes to your advertisment at no additional cost.

How long will my advertisement appear?

Your advertisement can appear on Bloodstock.com.au for as long as you wish.

It is common for horses listed on Bloodstock.com.au to be sold quickly. If you no longer need your advertisement, it can be removed at any time.

Advertisements are removed from the site after two months. However, you can keep extending your advertisement for another two months at no cost. You will receive an email towards the end of the two month period with information on how to renew your advertisement. This is done to ensure advertisments remain relevant and up-to-date.

How do interested people contact me?

People can contact you via a form on your advertisement. Your email address will remain invisible and confidential to us. Visitors to the site will not see your email address. They can also contact you by telephone on the number provided by you.

Can I include photos on my advertisement?

Yes, unlimited photos and video may be uploaded. You will have the opportunity to upload photos and video after you enter the content of your advertisement.

How do I get my photos in digital format?

You will need to use either a digital camera to take digital photos, or use a scanner to turn printed photos into digital ones for use on your computer. You can also have photos developed in a digital format at photo outlets.

What format do photos need to be in?

We accept all major photo/image formats.

What format do videos need to be in?

We accept all major video formats.

What happens once I am happy with the content of my advertisement?

You will have a final opportunity to review your advertisement prior to submitting your payment details. Once payment has been processed, your advertisement will appear on the website immediately.

Which payment methods are accepted?

We accept payment by credit card, cheque, money orders or bank transfer.

Payment can be made using our secure online credit card form. Your advertisement will appear on Bloodstock.com.au immediately after verifying your credit card details.

You may also pay by cheque, money order or bank transfer, however your listing will not be appear on Bloodstock.com.au until payment has been received. (This may take several business days.)

How do I remove my advertisement?

If you want your advertisement removed, please contact us via email on info@bloodstock.com.au or click on the email you received when you created your advertisement and you can amend or remove the advertisement there.

You will be emailed two months after creating your advertisement, to verify that you wish to keep advertising your horse. If you ignore this email, your listing will be automatically removed.

How can my advertisement be found on the website?

Your ad can be found a number of ways. It will turn up in search results if your advertisement matches the criteria of users conducting searches. Your advertisement may also be sent to people via our Email Alert system if they are interested in bloodstock like yours.
